We often see becoming as a journey that has a destination, but truly there's no destination in its entirety. The process, the pains and beauty all shape what will become, there is no product. Identity should be seen as a process no product, that is what the painting, one in its series is conveying. sometimes beauty really is collateral. Beauty didn't come after the hard part it grew from them.

For the longest time, I have struggled with identity and accepting my self. This series is a part that journey.
