You are important

Artwork story

YOU ARE IMPORTANT (A potter is one who makes clay vessels of any shape he likes and for any purpose he chooses.)This painting rendered in pointillism, is a figure of a sitting potter showing the legs and hands in the making of a clay vessel. An expression that tries to capture how our God and Creator/ those who are interested in moulding us to the form we could be useful to God, humanity and self, relax and take their time to work on us in details. The time, skill and carefulness they give in preparing us reveal how important they see us, and also want us to see ourselves - important.

My grandmother was a potter and her engagement with clay from start to finish till the vessels become useful, inspired me
