Childhood Memories

Artwork story

_“Childhood Memories”_ captures a formative moment between innocence and folklore, memory and myth. The composition shows a small figure seen from behind — a child in a bright purple shirt, green shorts, and a distinctive yellow and red pyramid hat — standing before a towering, masked entity. The figure’s posture is still, contemplative, suggesting both curiosity and reverence rather than fear. The second figure dominates the right side: a masquerade draped in layered, gestural strokes of red, yellow, blue, and green.

Childhood, cultural identity, folklore, ancestral presence, memory, initiation, and the transmission of tradition.
