This painting explores confidence as something earned, not worn. The face stands calm and grounded, shaped by layers of colour that carry emotion, memory, and growth. The head tie is not a symbol of status, but of self recognition formed through experience, resilience, and becoming. Rather than demanding attention, the figure holds space, allowing strength to exist quietly and fully. Through abstraction and expressive colour, the work speaks to presence, self-acceptance, and the power of standing firmly in one’s own identity.
