This painting speaks to endurance. The face looks forward, carrying the weight of lived experiences layered through colour and texture. Dark tones hold moments of struggle and silence, while brighter colours rise as signs of resilience and becoming. It is not about healing that is complete, but about survival that is visible. This face remains marked, present, and unapologetically alive.
