Grace at Dawn

Artwork story

This painting explores the themes of life and nature. I employed calico material soaked in gesso to create a three-dimensional curtain effect, enhancing the realism of the piece. Additionally, I used yarn to craft a curtain holder, providing a clean and aesthetically pleasing finish. The entire work is rendered in acrylic paint.

My paintings are inspired by the entirety of life, particularly the often-overlooked blessing of a new day. Many people fail to recognize the significance of this daily gift, which I believe requires the grace of God. Through my work, I aim to convey the profound sense of gratitude and wonder that accompanies the dawn of each new day. I invite viewers to reflect on the beauty and potential that each sunrise brings, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the simple yet transformative moments in our lives.
