Between Earth and Sky depicts two feminine figures in a cosmic dialogue. One adorned in warm golden tones representing earthly heritage, the other bathed in cool blue celestial light. They reach toward a brilliant star at the intersection of their worlds, symbolizing the connection between ancestry and divinity, the physical and spiritual realms. This digital artwork explores themes of duality, cosmic femininity, and African spirituality through rich contrasts and luminous detail.

This piece was born from my fascination with the sacred feminine in African cosmology and the constant conversation between earth and sky, body and spirit. I wanted to capture that liminal space where the earthly and celestial meet—where ancestors and descendants touch through shared light. The warm and cool color palettes represent different dimensions of existence that are eternally connected. The star they hold between them symbolizes hope, divine knowledge, and the sacred bond between generations. Through this work, I explore how we carry both earthly wisdom and cosmic destiny within us.
