We are stitched into a garment that shelters the rain.
One stands in the light, the vanguard, the soul,
While the shadows of brothers make the broken man whole.
Gold on the chest, but the heart is the treasure,
A kindness of spirit that no scale can measure.
Through the heat of the noon and the chill of the night,
I am my brother’s keeper; I am his light.
Though the world may be vast and the desert be wide,
There is strength in the shoulder that leans by your side.
Three faces, one journey, one ancient decree:
As long as you stand, there is shelter for me.
