Godswill somto omeje

Am Godswill Somto Omeje, born on May 2, 2003, in Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria, has cultivated his artistic journey from a young age. His passion for art began in childhood, where he would draw on the ground and create chalkboard illustrations for his teachers at Model Primary School in Nsukka.…

During his secondary education at Urban Boys Secondary School, he encountered a pivotal mentor, Sr. Agatha, who introduced him to techniques such as shading and the use of grid lines for drawing human figures. Although he later transferred to St. John's Cross Seminary, he ultimately realized that his true calling lay in art, not the priesthood. This revelation reignited his dedication to pursue a career as an artist.

Currently, he is studying Fine and Industrial Art at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he continues to develop his skills and explore his artistic identity. Am Godswill's journey reflects a deep commitment to his craft, driven by a lifelong passion for creativity and expression.
