Artist Biography — Olushola Oluwaseyi…
I am Olushola Oluwaseyi, a Nigerian fine artist and contemporary visual artist based in Lagos, Nigeria. My artistic journey is deeply rooted in drawing and painting, while my practice continues to expand into digital art and other forms of visual expression.
I am a versatile artist who works primarily with abstract concepts, using art as a way to explore emotions, human experiences, nature, identity, and the unseen ideas that shape our everyday lives. For me, art is more than creating beautiful images; it is a language through which I communicate thoughts, feelings, questions, and perspectives that may sometimes be difficult to express with words.
My creative process is driven by experimentation. I explore different forms, textures, colours, lines, and compositions, allowing each concept to influence the technique and medium I use. I work both traditionally and digitally, and I enjoy the freedom of moving between different artistic approaches while maintaining a strong connection to my personal vision.
