Nyada Anita

I am Anita Nyada, a visual artist born to a Father from Adamawa state and a Mother from Delta state. I was raised in the picturesque town of Ajaokuta, Kogi state. The diverse landscapes of beautiful hills and the ever changing weather displaying vibrant colours, sparked my creativity and shaped my artistic perspective.…

A common thread in all my work is tranquility and emotional depth, inviting viewers to engage with the serene landscapes and introspective moments I capture.
My university studies in fine and industrial arts allowed me to expand my creative repertoire, exploring various art forms including ceramics. This deepened my appreciation for the versatility and beauty of nature. My artistic perspective continues to evolve reflecting the harmony between nature and human experience. As a painter, I aim to create vibrant thought-provoking paintings that ignite the imagination and inspire individuals globally to see the world from new perspectives, to evoke emotion and foster a deeper connection between the viewer and their own inner world. Join me on this artistic journey and let your imagination run wild.

Artist statement: Creating paintings that evoke emotions and stimulate the imagination. My work invites viewers to engage with its themes, fostering dialogue between the artwork and the observer. Through the careful use of colour and form, I challenge perceptions and inspire reflection.
