Joseph Mann

I'm a multidisciplinary artist that's raised by parents who love art through music (dad) and movies (mum) , through that I learnt it's a way of expressing one self and also a way to learn more about life. I got more insight about visual art after applying for art and industrial design in laspotech (lasustech) ikorodu w…

here I worked more on expressing my self-reflection and perception with the combination of colours, shapes, line with precise techniques, architecture and construction.
During the ending of my programme at the time ,I started learning how to making movies starting from learning script writing/screen writing from TAFTA; then I also learn art business and entrepreneurship.
Then I remembered that I have actually been into art since I was a kid because I do draw storyboard in stick style and loves drawing cartoons like Tom and jerry, justice League, kid next door e.t.c. So now I'm into visual art( painting , sculpture, ceramics) and Film making

Artist statement: I creat art about general life topics through my perception and self- reflection with the with empathy using different mediums - painting, sculpture, ceramics; because I believe that every topic and message as a special way it has to be passed for better understanding of the audience.
