About the Artist
Full name: Victor Okon Artist name: vicklegend
I am a self-taught artist specializing in contemporary hyper-realism. My body of work explores the profound emotions associated with the human experience and our perceptions of the world. For me, art is as essential as breathing; it nourishes my imagination and creative spirit.…
From a young age, I have been passionate about drawing and often found inspiration by observing the works of other artists. Over the years, my dedication to improving my craft has led to significant growth in my artistic abilities. Consistency and hard work have been the cornerstones of my development, allowing me to refine my style and express my vision more clearly.
Through my art, I aim to connect with viewers on a deeper level, inviting them to reflect on their own experiences and emotions. Each piece is a testament to my journey as an artist and my commitment to exploring the complexities of human perception.
My art is a communication between the world of imagination and reality.
Artist statement: My work examines human emotion and identity through realism and contemporary expression. I primarily use oil and acrylic on canvas, along with charcoal and graphite on paper, to capture the subtle details that define our shared experiences.
